Base just announced deeper ties with CoinGecko:
• Find Base tokens listed on @coingecko

• Trade them right on @GeckoTerminal

• Use GeckoTerminal inside @baseapp

• Get new users via @spindl_xyz ads.
This makes discovering and trading Base stuff way easier and more connected

Machines can now pay other machines directly on @base for AI stuff. @protocol_fx integrated x402 (instant payments) through @heurist_ai.

It’s all decentralized, no trust needed.
This sets up rails for AI agents to handle payments on their own, all onchain.

Base already leads in metrics (stablecoin volume, daily actives). Now layering customer obsession on top = path to global onchain economy.

Instead of just digital cards, @ripdotfun lets you rip packs on your phone, collect them onchain, and redeem for actual physical cards anytime.

So you get both the digital version and the option for the real thing.
This is @base showing how onchain stuff can feel normal and connect to everyday things.

Your AI agent no longer needs you to approve everything.
It can now directly access real blockchain data from @Alchemy (like RPC calls, NFT ownership, metadata, and token prices) and pay for it instantly in USDC on @base using x402.
No human in the loop. Agent just calls the API and pays automatically.
Big step for fully autonomous agents.

Base just showed how serious they are about AI agents:
Their own head of engineering (Chintan Turakhia) said the Base team used AI agents to push 70 pull requests in 15 minutes.
They’re not just talking about agents. They’re using them.
@base really is becoming “home for agents” starting with their own team.

Now with @paysponge you just upload your API docs → they make special payment links (called x402) on Base chain.Agents can then pay instantly in USDC
