So, Joe Biden got 80 million votes last time, this time Kamala Harris got 66 million?
The missing 14 million didn’t all go to Trump - he got less than last time too. So did 14 million Democrats just not vote?
If so, they’re getting the government they deserve.
America…it’s like watching the Fall of Rome. There is no other democracy, from Norway to New Zealand, which would elect as its leader a rapist, felon, liar, ignoramus, misogynist, vindictive bully and charlatan.
It's not just that Trump won. It's that Joe Rogan, Dana White and Brett Favre won. Jailed insurrectionists won. The Alitos and the Thomases won. Vladimir Putin won. Racism won. Misogyny won. Sexism won. Global warming won. Xenophobia won. Most of all: Fear Won. That's what hurts.
Or maybe, just maybe, it’s to get the energy sector to put their money where their mouth is, and actually do the work rather than keep pushing off their actions in the hopes that maybe in 25 years, magical technology will suddenly become available.
Great the govt is moving forward with an oil & gas emissions cap. Canadians expect oil & gas to do their part on climate but despite record profits & representing 1/3 of 🇨🇦 emissions they're the only sector whose emissions continue to increase. Enough greenwashing. Do the work!
Ford says he's a champion of Ontario's auto sector and wants us to lead the way on EVs. But he ripped out charging stations, hasn't invested in a charging network, and removed them from the building code, turning a $500 install into a $5,000 upgrade.

“When people ask me why I like bikes, my short answer is always, ‘because I like successful cities.’ So my appreciation for urban biking is born of pragmatism around the real challenges cities are facing.” My interview in @DailyHiveVan & @modacitylife: https://t.co/OVea4f46EU
"Chow has to stand up for Toronto — not just for cyclists, but for the city government that she now leads." @JohnLorinc in @Spacing

@asifintoronto@fordnation@PrabSarkaria As somebody who bikes and drives downtown, I can confidently say driving on routes with proper bike lanes is vastly more pleasant with no discernible increase in congestion. People advocating for this don't drive downtown, are assholes, or are assholes who don't drive downtown
Having gone to UofT and lived in the area, I remember bad clashes between drivers and cyclists on Bloor, the most high profile one involving a former attorney general and a dead cyclist. That @fordnation@PrabSarkaria would take us back to that era again is so fucking stupid.
Is @PierrePoilievre compromised? We honestly don't know, as he refuses to get his clearance. If elected PM, he will automatically received his clearance and have access to all Canada's secrets, which, if he is compromised, could end up in the hands of foreign govts
