Honoured to speak at the #CMR2024 conference about our project using machine learning to differente HCM and cardiac AL and ATTR amyloidosis with #whycmr during the Early Career Award Session
Your patient comes with indication for a stress #whyCMR, first images show a LV Thrombus. Do you continue with a stress test?
Excited to see our latest research on that topic published today.
A big thanks to the involved team!

New Research: Safety, accuracy, and prediction of prognosis in patients with end-stage chronic kidney disease undergoing dobutamine stress cardiac magnetic resonance imaging: Introduction
Advanced chronic kidney disease (CKD) is an… #cardiovascular https://t.co/snP2V17xIV
176 patients (49 women), 156 of those on permanent dialysis.
Dobutamine stress is:
- safe (1 major complication, 0.6%)
- accurate (PPV 92.6%, NPV 95%)
- predicts prognosis: ⬇️LV-EF and inability to reach peak stress (despite max stimulation) predict poor prognosis
How do you assess CAD in (pre-)dialysis patients?
Excited that our new study on dobutamine stress #whycmr has just been published, key messages below.
Big thanks so the involved team and the @dzhk_germany for funding this study!
