I called you a liar because you've repeatedly lied about the incident for a year. That doesn't mean I'm not sincerely sorry for what I actually did, but the fact that you continue to frame my bad joke as an ACTUAL threat makes you a shitty person.

@SmugJoshy@Beverley_Yim when someone falsely accuses you of sending them a death threat, you defend yourself.
whether i deserve forgiveness or not isn't the point. the point is, i wasn't being serious. she has no right to lie about the incident.
@SmugJoshy@Beverley_Yim except i DIDN'T avoid accountability, because i literally apologized you dumbass.
people normally don't take this phrase seriously because it's a very common joke on this platform. if someone doesn't find it funny, all you can do is apologize. i literally did the right thing.
Except I didn't say it like that. I used an extremely common internet catchphrase that nobody has ever taken seriously but you that day, and you've managed to be a pathetic little pissbaby about it for almost an entire year.
Please lose all of your opportunities.
@SmugJoshy@Beverley_Yim she's lying, and has been lying about this for months. it was a bad joke, and even though i immediately apologized when she told me it wasn't cool, she continues to pretend as though i were being serious because she is a bad person (like you!)

1. i didn't say that to you. i said "we gotta kill you for this one," something people jokingly say to each other all the time
2. i immediately apologized
you don't have to accept my apology, but i would appreciate it if you'd stop lying about the incident. thanks very much π
The way this can tarnish some character designs that are otherwise great, too. It makes perfect sense for Chun-Li to have exaggerated thighs, because she's a martial artist who specializes in kicks. But in reality, it's only because her designer is a gooner with a thigh fetish π
@mrqueue6@NoellaRoseVox @_delightfulcat_ some people are in a position where they must lie at some point to get employed. because if they don't get a job they will starve and die.
@slimebigmoney the main difference between your downplay and "mine" is that i'm actually pretty insightful. i put a lot of effort into explaining what makes chun-li so bad with data and video evidence, whereas all you really do is saltpost
i'm the annoying one though
https://t.co/82sEwlLZ7o
@slimebigmoney 2 full paragraph response to a little joke is hilarious + trying to talk to me about "downplay" when this is your post history will never not be funny as fuck
@176bpm it's going to be the biggest single player game of the decade and you're gonna have to accept that
(i have no intentions of buying it myself because i have no interest in the series)
@bbanghanji@crowcialist Starting with gerunds is fine if you don't overdo it. Overdoing it makes your sentences annoying and repetitive to read. Writing well is about maintaining a sense of flow and naturalness. Reading what you wrote out loud is a good way to test if it sounds natural.
@turningmystile i'm 30 and i hate them because they never add anything and do nothing for me emotionally. they just have no value
pissing and shitting are also normal things that everyone does, but that doesn't mean there's a pointless pissing and shitting scene thrown into every movie
@Abuna_l sure, i just think if that's your contention, then you should frame it that way. instead of wanting your character to be made easier, you should want everyone else to be made more difficult
@HatsonFGC just because it SAYS "worldwide" doesn't mean that's what you're getting. even with that setting turned on, i still see the same ~50 players all the time, the vast majority of whom are from the american midwest.
p sure they do this to obscure the game's overrated netcode
