Building a native MacOS app for Crona in Swift.
Did anyone ask for this? No.
But I’ve been meaning to learn Swift for a while, and rewriting a terminal-first app as a native Mac app felt like a good excuse.
Been off here for a while. In that time I’ve:
- Stashed some projects, started new ones, and resurrected a few old ones
- Set up a new blog -> https://t.co/uSa0QWZmGU
- Set up a home server, de-googling my life wherever possible
Back to building.
Foreman: The game files are verified, House. It has to be the drivers.
House: No. If it were the drivers, it wouldn’t have passed verification.
Cameron: Maybe a corrupted install? We should redownload—
House: It’s not the install. The game loads fine, it just crashes.
Foreman: So it’s not a typical driver issue! We should do a clean reinstall—
House: It’s never the drivers! If it were, the problem would’ve been fixed the first time.
Cameron: And verifying the files didn’t do anything. [House pops a Vicodin, stares at the screen.]
House: Break into their house. Delete the shader cache. Check for a botched config file or some idiotic fullscreen optimization breaking everything. If it still crashes, force DirectX 11. If it still crashes… well, then we’re dealing with something worse.
I'm working with nestjs for a project and couldn't find a centralised "error registry" package, so I took a little detour and built one.
Check out https://t.co/kr92tX0XjV
If you use NestJS, give it a try and let me know what features you’d like to see added!
This "goodbye" game with each tech launch is getting old TBH.
Be it Samsung, Google, Apple or any top brand, any new launch is tagged as the "competitor killer".
Each of them are catering to their audience and the audience doesn't care what the other side is doing.
@help_delhivery my package is delayed by 4 days. Everyday it goes out for delivery, no attempt is made to contact me and each night the status changes to "Customer not available". You guys don't even have a valid customer care number.
