So @AvantiWestCoast - sitting on the 1312 from Ldn Euston to Manc Picc and we've not moved from the station. No announcements either. What's happening?
@CllrSteveEllis@AvantiWestCoast Hi. You might like my thread from my profile. Think you're on the same train as me now. Originally it was the 1312 to MCR PICC then it cancelled to become the 1352. Then other trains cancelled and those passengers told to go on the 'new' 1352. That's about 3 trains of passengers.

@AvantiWestCoast You've also got far too much heating on the carriages for the number of people on here. And your WiFi hasn't worked since we left London. No one seems to be bothered.

@AvantiWestCoast And now, someone who needed a seat with their baby had to have a seat, I've given up my seat. I'm now standing with all the other passengers in amongst all the baggage that can't be stowed. Passenger safety is really not Avanti's concern clearly.
@AvantiWestCoast Oh, sorry. My mistake, I was talking to someone else on the train. Still - any chance you can communicate with anyone on the train. That's now 3 trains on 1. I've also been helping folks with bags. No sign of staff.
@AvantiWestCoast Thanks for that, Karen. Try calling the train staff - they are in the station. Have you really no way of alerting the train staff of anything? Shocking.
@AvantiWestCoast And now the 'new' 1352 has been marked as delayed with no expected departure time. What's happening? No announcements. Come on, this is terrible customer service.
@AvantiWestCoast Ok. Well, perhaps we could find out what's happening with reservations on the 'new' 1352. Since everyone (including myself) are sitting in their reserved seats from the 1312. Maybe they'll maybe announce that all seat reservations are cancelled? I don't want an argument.
@AvantiWestCoast Not true. Just heard it was passenger action and BTP was called. Only just had an announcement train cancelled, now reformed as 1352. No announcement about train reservations.
@EastMidRailway So, finally the crew with the drinks came through after Derby... Offered no information so I asked about the announcement of reduced service: I was told 'sandwiches hadn't shown up' on their trolley despite being ordered. That info doesn't really help me.

@EastMidRailway I'm on the 1302 train from London St Pancras to Sheffield. The on board crew said nothing for the first hour. Just now they made an announcement about reduced catering service. No reasons why. Where do I claim for this?
@EastMidRailway Oh, wait. There's just been an announcement about apologies that they've been running a limited service in first class. So what do I do with that?
