@LynAldenContact Would one fair interpretation be that all the technological and productivity gains of the past 50 years have been redistributed through currency debasement?
@RoKhanna And which government initiative would you point to as evidence of the government’s tremendous success in managing the economy? Housing? Education? Healthcare? Not one thing the government has promised to fix has gotten better.
Americans are struggling to pay for things because politicians have used the Federal Reserve to debase the currency to pay for their positions of power. That same debasement allows the wealthy to benefit from absurd valuations and overleveraging. If you want the system to not be rigged, we must end the Fed. Sound money will not allow over leverage, absurd valuations, or wealth concentrations like we have under fiat currency.
@Heccles94 Take a step back and contemplate the role Congress and the Federal Reserve had in getting us here. Taxing the rich is not a complete answer.
@SenSanders If you really want fairness and to punish the wealthy, end the Fed. It was implode the stock market, level the playing field, and through sound money greatly inhibit the bankers from strip mining the economy for all its economic gains.
@SenWarren Ah yes, more taxation and government is always the answer from this feckless senator. Let’s not consider for a moment that this feat was enabled by a federal reserve and Congress that has debased the currency 99% in 50 years.
@steve_hanke@elonmusk And yet it will be capitalism that is impugned by this , not the half century of currency debasement that made such an astronomical number possible.
@MostlyPeaceful Somehow the federal government has the desire to pay Palentir to track all of us down to the finest detail, but use that advanced tech to stop this? Nah.
@SovMichael@POTUS@realDonaldTrump This is an abdication of representative government. If they are concealing existential enlightenment from us and rubbing that crime in our faces, what further proof do we need that the American experiment is officially dead?
Mankind has not even codified a crime as high as denying the people of this planet full knowledge of their place in existence. This isn’t a game. Acting like it is one tells me those in power are irredeemable because either 1) they have intel but prefer to toy with us than to be honest, or 2) they have no such info but are willing to prey on humanities deepest desire for truth for some kind of manipulated materialistic gain. We can only pray for humanity’s redemption despite our leaders’ corruption.
Let’s make a deal. If you forfeit your right to privacy while in office—I’m talking Truman Show absolute transparency—the people should compensate you generously. Let members of Congress pilot the digital control grid that’s being built for the rest of us and show us how our government works. Deal?
@EdGallrein Beware the military vet seeking public office who constantly reminds you of his or her valor. John McCain, Tammy Duckworth, Dan Crenshaw, etc. They may have fought for our country but they’re expecting a big personal ROI.
As much as I admire Massie an unanswered prayer for his re-election could be where the blessing takes shape. If re-elected we might all breathe a momentary sigh of relief and go back to our other distractions. If he loses it will be confirmation that Congress is compromised and there is no voting our way out of this. That might be the wake-up call we need to get focused and committed on saving the Republic.
@KYCooperrider@ThomasEWoods The dominance of his military credentials across his campaign materials says, “trust me, even if I can’t articulate why.” The perfect cover for a planted candidate.
