This intellectual coward has me blocked, so this is how I must reply to his nonsense.

Unlike the other veterans you are torturing with your mistaken superiority complex, I am an actual graduate of one of the Joint war colleges, and all the war college does is remove you from warfighting and train you to think like some sort of quasi-USAID GS-14 employee.

When the DIME is taught at the War Colleges, it indoctrinates you into the D, the I and the E while dulling the M. You become a rusty bayonet no longer used for killing but for slicing shallots for some French dish at a Georgetown cocktail party.

Although he was not a war college grad, Alexander Vindman is a perfect example of what war colleges produce: flabby pseudo-intellectuals who value the "interagency" over warfighting.

And the great combat generals who went to the war college? (What few there are.) They enjoyed a year long vacation, tuned-out the wannabe Harvard nonsense and got rested for their next round of slaughtering the enemy.

And don't tell me it preps you for service at the national level. You sink or swim at the Pentagon and the combatant commands based on your innate abilities and the war college does nothing to actually prepare you for any of that.

All of the Service and Joint war colleges have devolved into aspiring Ivy League graduate schools, and in their current form have done nothing other than degrade warfighting lethality.

I suspect you feebly attempt to flaunt your "superiority" because I just described you.
