Absolutely shocking from @ScotRail. Paisley Canal service 10 minutes late then cancelled halfway along the route. Now having to walk my young family from Corkerhill to Paisley Road West to get a bus into Paisley to try an make an appointment on time. Really not good enough.

This is the UK's marginal tax rate on someone with three kids. You can earn £50k and pay a marginal rate of 68%. It's disgrace.

But it's made even worse by the way a large chunk of this tax is collected - the "high income child benefit charge" (HICBC).

@Barclaycard Just finished my chat with @Apple and apparently there's nothing they can do to activate the subscription if I don't have an Apple device. So how am I supposed to redeem the offer?

@Barclaycard - took out a Rewards card and have spent hours today trying to redeem the Apple TV subscription. How do I do it without an Apple device? Thought I'd cracked it using a combo of android app + windows pc then found that I need to use MacOS to access the Mac App Store!

@Barclaycard Hi Lisa, done all that. Got through what I thought was most of the process: set up Apple's two factor verification, authenticated the bank details then got stuck cos I don't have a device with Mac OS on it.
