Anger → something needs to change.
Sadness → something needs to be released.
Fear → something needs attention.
Joy → something wants more life.

A lot of people call anger a problem because they've only experienced unconscious anger. Conscious anger is extraordinarily useful. It tells you what matters, where the boundary is, and what you're no longer willing to tolerate.

@awilkinson@grok@bot Love the feedback-loop idea.
The interesting limit of AI here is that it can show you the pattern…
but it can’t yet give you the embodied experience of staying present when your nervous system actually wants to defend, withdraw or attack.
Knowing pattern ≠ being free of it.
@thesamparr This is the part of wealth I find most interesting.
Eventually the optimization flips from:
“How do I get more?”
to:
“What can I remove so I have more attention, presence and actual life?”
Very different game.
@SahilBloom There’s another layer to this:
Can you still feel whether the work is actually alive for YOU when nobody is validating it?
Otherwise “discipline” can quietly become another way of abandoning yourself.
My best decision making tips:
-If it’s not a “fuck yes,” it’s probably a no.
-Visualize each option: Does your body expand or contract?
-Decide quickly. Change slowly.
-Indecision is still a decision.
-Meaningful rewards usually require some risk.
-The obstacle is often the way.
@SahilBloom There’s something deeply freeing in reaching the point where you no longer need an outcome to prove something about yourself.
You can still play full out — but the result stops being a referendum on who you are.
Very different kind of ambition.

What happened isn't important for reality
What works is.
What happened is important for you to heal.
