Unsolicited career advice: The best way to achieve a goal is to go at it head-on rather than through alternate/sneaky entry-points. When I started the newsletter, I hoped it would lead to more commissions for me. IT DIDN'T. I should have just pitched more if that's what I wanted.

Tried it when COVID hit in Mar 2020, and struggled because company communication was not asynchronous. As a writer, I felt burnt out within 3 weeks. Left after 1 month but have maintained a freelance work r/ship w them.
