Today in Somerville, we announced the new MBTA Communities Catalyst Fund to support municipalities saying “Yes!” to more housing.

The Dilboy Auxiliary natural grass fields are being renovated this year and will contain a new sand-slit subsurface drainage system to improve infiltration in this flood prone area. This is an example of green infrastructure addressing more frequent and extreme water events. ⚾️🌧️

Touring the Poplar Street Pump Station construction site today was absolutely wild. The photos really don't do it justice and the techniques and engineering that have gone into a 4 million gallon underground stormwater storage tank are beyond anything I expected.
