@JaxterTS please change the caption to something like 'when wefferino hit this combo they screamed so hard that the dad of one of the kids in the venue shouted at them to be quiet'
@JaxterTS@BenLamsonFGC it's especially to see how the walkers and lay's brands ended up essentially being conflated into the same thing despite having actually separate origins
@BenLamsonFGC@JaxterTS cheetos to england, they have not been successful as we ultimately preferred wotsits. an interesting thought experiment is, what would happen if walkers and lays were sold in the same shop? would it divide people, or would they be so similar that no one cared? food for thought
@BenLamsonFGC@JaxterTS american cheetos and british wotsits have conceptual similarities (tasty cheese puff) the manufacturing process and flavour differs, especially in the type of cheese used. walkers ultimately bought wotsits from golden delicious, and while pepsico have tried to introduce (2/2)
@GPtheTO@JaxterTS there was a day where it was selling more than angry birds on the app store!! and then i stopped making games and played smash for some reason. and now i'm doing english at cambridge. i can't explain any of these decisions
@GPtheTO@JaxterTS omg that's it!!! i also actually never remember either of us getting annoyed at it, like you just did it forever and it was simply accepted. one of us must be retconning
@GPtheTO@JaxterTS i've spent the last 10 minutes remembering this but also having absolutely no idea how it came about. must have been a typo... but what typo??
