PM Modi of India, his government and the ruling party, the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) are facing a revolution and revolt. They are threatened by "cockroachs". Massive demonstrations have gripped many cities in India as result of the cockroachs flexing their political muscles. During a hearing before the Supreme Court, Chief Justice Surya Kant described India's unemployed youth as "parasites" and "cockroachs." A young unemployed Indian graduate from America posted on social media "what if all cockroachs come together". Within day, he formed the Cockroach Janta Party(CJP), a "political party for the people the system forgot to count" and 22 million indians joined it, overtaking the Modi's BJP. Modi tried to block the party's registration but failed. Yesterday, the party brought many cities in India to standstill as it called for demonstrations against youth unemployment and social reforms. PM Modi is very moody and has no idea on how to address the cockroachs.
Kenyans this is how the youth and the young can bring change...you dont have to waste your time and effort with the fake and false promises of a 77 years failed former CJ called @dkmaraga (who is scared to tell Kenyans his vision on how to reform the judiciary and address the cancer of JurisPESA that spread during his tenure) who tells you he embodies your future and shares your aspirations! 🤣🤣🤣

Marathons are businesses like any other

A lot of money is invested in them

Nobody had thought of getting the ‘Mombasa Marathon’ trademarked

We did that and we have been engaging sponsors locally and internationally

We have been preparing this for almost a year with a hope of doing one of the biggest marathons in the region(level of the Kilimanjaro,Rwenzori and the Standard Chartered Marathons)

We have been engaging top sports channels who were willing to partner with us

A top sports show company has even offered to brand running shoes(so much has been put into this)

Explaining the endless backlog/inertia in our courts to advocates, clients and judges despite massive increases in the number judges:

1. We have 365 days in a year.

2. The High Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme court don't sit on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, totalling 156 days.

3. We are left with 209 working days in a year.

4. Judges take summer vacation of 45 days from 1st August to 15th September.

5. They take 21 days Christmas leave from 22nd December to 15th January.

6. They take 14 days Easter vacation.

7. Judges take 30 days annual leave.

8. Judges spend 30 days a year in workshop, training, seminars and foreign trips, specially the Supreme Court judges.

9. Average of 15 days on personal and family emergencies .

10. The Average judge of the High Court and the Court of Appeal sit in court a mere 54 days a year.

11. Supreme Court judges sit between 25 to 28 days in a year.

12. The Chief Justice sits in court less than 15 days a year.

With judges working just 54 days a year, do you now understand the second biggest challenge facing the courts after JurisPESA?
