@trickehvickeh@royalmusing Susan's wishes were followed, to the letter. It was a very moving service. At the crematorium I chose The Swan of Tuonella by Sibelius. A hauntingly ethereal piece of music. It's Christmas day and I miss her tremendously. Barry
@royalmusing@trickehvickeh@Gertsroyals Aww! Alan was cremated but I was so devastated at 29 that I couldn't keep the ashes. I will be cremated but with a Christian service. Abide With Me and The Day Thou Gavest Lord Has Ended as hymns. In My Life by the Beatles at the end.
Thank you for your kind thoughts. I understand that Susan died from a ruptured cerebral artery aneurysm, i.e. a sudden bleed in the brain. It would have been very quick & painless, thankfully. No treatment would have been effective, even in hospital. It has brought some relief.
My beloved funny gorgeous wife, Susan Seward, passed away at 3 a.m. this morning, cause unknown. History was her passion, as she was mine. Grieve with me.
Barry
Funny how the same people who want to open up the nation's doors to backwards cultures that rape little girls, oppress women, and stone gays tell you to leave the country for supporting the right to self-defense π€π€
