I was called genocidal and a supporter of genocide this morning. Responded but then deleted the tweet. No reason to help him get followers. But here is what I want to say. An army that warns the population when it’s coming. An army that evacuated almost a million people from Rafah. The UN cut its estimate of civilian casualties roughly by 50%. Defending our country from people who brag that they are genocidal—that they want to kill the Jews. From people who kidnap both living people and corpses. From rapists. From people who kidnap children. We are the genocidal ones? Tells the world more about you than me.

Terrorists come to your house and kill half your family, many after or during (yes during) rape, and credibly threaten to kill the rest in the future. In fact they proudly declare their intentions. When you try to bring them to justice they hide behind their own people (many of which agree with the terrorists that your family should all die, though that shouldn’t justify violence on its own). Tragically many of the non terrorists are killed. You correctly think it is 100% the fault of the terrorist murderers and rapists who killed half your family for their hiding being these people after committing their savagery. A tactic the evil sickos have used for years.

But alas the world of liars, feckless cowards, and fools clueless of the history of these sick terrorists who killed your family, despite you repeatedly offering them all they want short of your destruction for 75 years, blame you and call you genocidal.

People have been spamming my comments with images of injured/dead Gazan children since I came out in support of Israel

Yes I know these images are devastating and the children being harmed in this war are innocent

I'm also not easily emotionally manipulated

I wouldn’t have rooted for the Nazis or called for a ceasefire if I had seen images of dead German children

A rational person realizes that yes the deaths are tragic and also that they are the fault of the government that began the conflict and put their citizens in danger (the Nazis in WW2 and Hamas now)

Hamas shouldn’t have attacked Israel on October 7 and ended the ceasefire that was in place

They shouldn't have built their military bases, tunnels, and weapons storage under schools, hospitals, and homes

And they shouldn't have told/forced their citizens to stay in conflict zones after Israel gave them a warning to leave

Anyone who actually cares about Gazan children is angry at Hamas and hopes that they will either surrender and end the fighting or that Israel will remove them from power quickly
