BREAKING: Massive Recovery Shakes Nigeria 🇳🇬

Reports claim former CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, has returned ₦4 TRILLION to the Federal Government — funds allegedly linked to his tenure.

Sources also allege he relinquished ownership of six banks tied to him.

Seeing a lot of people call this a consequence of the long house. Maybe. But perhaps it is actually a manifestation of Plato's cave. These young women get caught up in a positive feedback loop of concert environments, ted talk sermons, and messaging focused on meeting you where you are instead of demanding you repent. This messaging is unattractive to single young men. There is an incentive structure (perhaps not intentional) to keep young men away from these churches because as his faith grows, he will gravitate to more traditional churches and lead his gf/fiance/wife out of the cave. These pastors are creating harems, but no one is having sex.

I have talked about this in many of my numerous lectures and presentations. Our women are our epitome of power. They are the centre of our greatness.

For those of you ignorant masanfani that sometimes inbox me why I am obsessed with Yoruba women. It is not about obsession. (Besides, who am I supposed to be obsessed with, if not Yoruba women?) It is about how our ancestors have done it in the past. t'éku n ké bí eku, t'é̩yẹ n ké bí ẹyẹ. Why should you change legacies that have made you one of world’s greatest civilizations?

And for those of you Yoruba women who have zero knowledge of your traditions/heritage that now follow “you know who” in the league of men-hating feminists. Now you can see an example of what I am saying. There more to this aspect, stories for another day/contexts.

Most of the problems we are facing in Yorubaland today results from the fact that we are displacing and replacing our women, especially in the conspicuous position of power. Even if we are not doing it directly. We seem to allow such happen under our watch.
