The curse of knowledge or the curse of expertise is a cognitive 'mental' bias that occurs when an individual, who is communicating with, trying to teach or explain a concept assumes that the other individual or persons already have the background knowledge to understand.
A post like this can only make sense to a heavily religious person...
I’m just sitting here wondering what a "sin" even is at this point, lol… Imagine two consenting adults having a normal, intimate moment in the morning and immediately worrying if an invisible force is angry at them because they have church later...
The level of mental imprisonment it takes to live like that is just wild to me…
a 23 year old fireboy signed under someone as great as baddo had the effrontery to drop a debut album of 13 songs w/o a single feature. he could've gotten literally any feature he wanted, being under olamide's wings. you can never, i mean never throw dirt on his name. HE IS HIM.
Baptising a newborn for original sin is insane.
Little man can’t even support his own neck, but apparently he’s already in spiritual debt over some forbidden fruit. 😭
I admire the purity of your thoughts: they are never polluted by the slightest trace of reflection or lucidity. If one day you were accused of intelligence, know that I would plead for your innocence.
A creation can only operate within the nature and limitations its creator gave it. So when a flaw is a predictable consequence of the design, you can’t completely blame the creation for it.
Apply that to biblical “sin.”
If Yahweh created humans, knew exactly how they would behave, knew they would fall, and had the power to create them differently, then humanity’s capacity to sin is ultimately a consequence of his design.
Adam didn’t create human nature. Yahweh did.
So why is the creature blamed for a flaw the creator knowingly built into the system?
If the Fall was foreknown and preventable, then saying “it’s entirely humanity’s fault” doesn’t fully solve the problem.
The deeper question is: Why create beings knowing they would fail, then punish them for failing exactly as you knew they would?
Atletico selling Julian Alvarez to Barcelona is entirely their choice.
Sell him. Don't sell him. Ask for €200m if you want. He's your player and you're perfectly entitled to do what you think is best for your club.
But please, spare me the holier-than-thou act about "ethics", "professionalism" and Barcelona negotiating in bad faith.
Where was all this concern for good faith when Atletico had an agreement with Barca that would require them to pay €40m for Griezmann if he played 45+ minutes in 50% of the games he was available for?
Their solution?
Keep one of their best players on the bench and repeatedly bring him on around the 60th minute so those games wouldn't count towards the clause.
Everyone knew what was happening. Griezmann knew. Simeone knew. Barca knew. The entire football world knew.
And eventually Barca, who desperately needed the money at the time, settled for roughly half the original €40m fee.
Was it within Atletico's contractual rights? Sure.
Was it this wonderful display of "good faith" and sporting ethics that they suddenly seem so passionate about in 2026?
Come on.
Football clubs look after their own interests. Atletico did it then. Barcelona are doing it now. That's the game.
So keep Julian. Sell Julian. Send him to Arsenal. Do whatever you want.
Just drop the saint act while doing it.
You cannot spend years playing the transfer market with every trick available to you and then suddenly discover the moral high ground when the sword falls on the other foot.

“Who gave the doctors the knowledge and skill to perform the surgery? God did. So all glory belongs to God.”
— The same Christians who somehow forget to credit the doctors when the surgery goes wrong.
Good morning. I’ve been seeing your tweet get reposted all over my timeline, but I kept looking away because I’ve addressed this same misconception more times than I care to count.
First, I’m an atheist and perfectly capable of speaking for myself. Second, life is far from comfortable for me. I’ve been at rock bottom for a while now, and that’s not something I hide from the internet. In fact, I’m replying to your tweet from a sick bed.
Not once has the thought of embracing theism crossed my mind while lying here.
I don’t need a theistic crutch to stand. It provides comfort for many people, Christians and Muslims included, and that’s fine. But being rich or broke has absolutely nothing to do with my lack of belief in deities. Ask around TwitterNG. I’m probably the brokest atheist you’ll ever meet.
I’ve been going through a rough phase for a while now. Guess what? I haven’t called upon any mythical character for help since I abandoned theism. I seek help from fellow humans instead. Humans exist. That makes them a far more sensible place to look for help than imaginary beings.
And here’s the part people keep missing. Whatever hardship I face as an unbeliever, there is a believer somewhere facing the exact same hardship. My disbelief in God or gods didn’t cause my struggles, and my struggles don’t magically prove God exists.
It’s not God punishing me. It’s life happening.
Reality doesn’t discriminate based on your beliefs. Believers suffer. Atheists suffer. The difference is often just how we choose to interpret and cope with it.
So no, life doesn’t need to “meet me” before I get sense. Life has met me plenty of times. It just hasn’t given me a reason to believe in a god.
This will be the last tweet I'll ever make on IN and ON and dressing.
Men IN suit
The lady IN wrapper
The lady IN a red dress
Men IN trad wears
The problem with most tweets is that a lot of people who use ON in the aforementioned scenarios do not understand visuals as regards dressing.
The cloth: singlet, wrapper, boxers, blouse, skirt, etc, act as covering.
What is covered will always be "IN," not "ON." What you see first is definitely the cloth, not the person.
Another mistake is "putting ON. "Putting" is always expunged to make ON stand independently, thereby creating a wrong and incorrect sentence.
"The lady putting ON a red dress" is correct
"The lady ON a red dress" is perfectly incorrect.
Wokinn is my favourite Chinese restaurant. The food is affordable (10-15k per person) and is really so good. They have two branches in lekki and in VI and they’re open every single day, 24/7. They deliver as well
Problem with having ADHD is that “important” doesn’t mean anything. “Urgent” does. “Interesting” does. But not “important”. You can value something deeply, love it, fear it, even need it. But if the mind does not register “now,” it remains an untouched file in the system.
Nigerian men buying PS5 and abandoning it after 1 week is peak "nostalgia" moment.
You're not a true gamer. You just wanted to make up for something you lacked as a child.
You know that episode of Rick & Morty where Rick reveals that there is an entire civilisation of people living inside his car battery who don't know that the sole purpose of their whole existence is to generate electricity to power a mad scientist's wacky space adventure car?
That is where Nigeria is right now, and that's why I am militant to the point of putting myself in trouble by talking about why Nigerians need to stage the most bloody and violent revolution Africa has ever witnessed. Because entire future branches of history are being wiped out because young Nigerians are trapped in an economy whose job is to make white people and a tiny Nigerian minority rich at the expense of 230,000,000 people like this.
This 19 year-old kid already has the sagging shoulders of a 47 year-old man with the world's weight on him, and he has already learned to not expect anything good to ever happen to him in life. All it took to show him a fork in his future trajectory was a fucking $47 tile cutting machine, and he's now going to hold on to this new opportunity and make a better life for himself - but there are literally millions of him out there that will never meet a benefactor, or that don't even have the skills needed to maximise this opportunity.
There is only ONE entity in any African country that has the power to carry out interventions like this in people's lives on a large scale - the state! A content creator can change one life like this and get viewed 10 million times, but a government can change 10 million lives like this without batting an eyelid! Only the government has the transformational capital and the incentive to do this in millions of lives!
That is why being led by people who don't work for you is a literal life-and-death matter! When we talk about neo-colonialism, this is what the fuck it is about! When you have a government installed by foreigners, which allocates billions of Naira in public revenues to enrich foreign intelligence assets like Gilbert Chagoury via transnational corruption schemes like the nonexistent "coastal highway" - this is the result!
Nigeria's money is not being used to invest in the lives and betterment of Nigerian people! It is being used to enrich white men in Washington DC who are already richer than God, with a fraction going to their local collaborators in Abuja! This kid and millions like him are the direct victims! Their future possibilities and bloodlines are being extinguished with poverty so that Peter McBillionaireStein and Matthew Von WhiteManBerg in Manhattan and London can increase their Q3 dividend payout by 15%. Neo-colonialism is not a victimless crime!
You are all living inside Rick Sanchez's car battery!
This might be very controversial as I see a lot of people enjoy it, but you know those Ai generated videos of babies dancing? Those ones on TikTok where the original dancer is an adult and the video is an Ai baby regenerated to replicate the dance? It puts me off.
I can’t quite place my finger on it but something about those videos don’t sit well with me. Almost eerie. The facial expressions, so adult yet it’s a “baby”? Emotionally mature micro-expressions mapped onto a face that’s supposed to be pre-verbal? And it’s just…
Babies are not meant to move like that. When an adult’s motor control is superimposed on a baby, there’s a visual dissonance. I don’t find it cute.
It gives me uncanny vibes.
This is me completely bitching, so don’t take me serious. It’s just one of those things I don’t have to complain about but I am because I don’t have real life problems.
Edit: If I’m to go deep now, I’m a big sucker for micro-expressions. As an actor (and just generally as a person), I don’t just use them - I spot them. Now, when adults dance, there are specific micro-expressions that come with the movement (the eyes can say “come hither” without any words said). Eye tension, mouth tension, brow shifts… a twerk here, a squint there, a smirk there. These things convey intensity without words. Some dancers use them intentionally, others probably just pick it just because…
But when a baby is superimposed onto those expressions, signaling adult agency… I don’t know what I’m supposed to feel. Why is a ‘baby’ biting its lower lip with a furrowed brow?? That’s a suggestive expression found only in adults trying to naughty.
