My takeaways from tonight's Congressional elections in NYC
(1) I despise Mamdani but he has shown himself to be an incredibly formidable politician. Underestimate him at your peril.
He endorsed against two Congressional incumbents in high risk races and looks like he's going to win both of them with Lander and Chevalier. Plus his third "outsider" endorsement of Valdez also won easily.
(2) Mass Immigration and cultural drift has truly made NYC a post-American city. That's the future of America if we don't close the border and have mass deportations. All three of Mamdani's endorsees are literal self-declared socialists who will now be in Congress.
(3) Israel, and in particular AIPAC are absolutely toxic in a Democrat primary-- especially anywhere vaguely "progressive"-- Israel was arguably the central issue in all three of these primaries and the candidate that was more hostile to Israel won in each. Expect a lot of Democrats to swing much harder against both AIPAC and Israel going forward.
(4) The radicalism of these soon-to-be Congressmen is going to be a headache for Democrat leadership in the House and a gift to the GOP.
The future of the Democrat party is radical and post-American in it's orientation. Since all of these candidates are in the world's media capital, they are going to get tons of attention.
That isn't going to play well for the Dems in 2026 and 2028.
.@ScottJenningsKY: “What is happening right now in New York City, the Democratic Socialist takeover of the Democrat Party should frighten not just Jewish Americans but all Americans everywhere because this is the direction the Democrats are headed nationally.”
This is absolute bullshit. Like not even slightly an accurate retelling of history and @TuckerCarlson should correct the record. Muslim rulers in that period committed genocide against Christians and their followers raped Christian women in insane numbers. In some time periods they even stole sons of Christians to convert them to Islam by force. All of this is well recorded in history and would have taken a 10 minute fact check.
Wow. 😳
@alexbruesewitz who runs the @TrumpWarRoom account is now supporting MEK.
MEK is an IslamoMarxist Cult. The Mojahedin-e-Khalq (The People’s Jihadists) approves of the Deal to save the Regime, so Alex is supporting them.
MEK which murdered American servicemen and was once on the U.S. terror list until Obama removed them. MEK who helped Khomeini take over Iran in 1979.
Unbelievable, Alex. How low will you actually go?

אנחנו בעידן של שקר, שיחדש והתנוונות מוחלטת של מוסדות הידע והתרבות - והפעם, זה קורה לא במשטרים טוטאליטריים, אלא מתוך לב חברות החירות.
Over the past week, Trump advisor Alex Bruesewitz has spent his days viciously bullying, intimidating, and smearing online Iranian activists.
All this because we, quite rightly, dared to question the MOU negotiated by Vance.
He truly embodies the worst of this administration.
Many people popping off against the US-Israel relationship refuse to see the following:
For Israel's brand/status it would be better if the US didn't do the Fordow bomb run last June which overshadowed what Israel pulled off. Didn't lose a single airplane; reduced the flow of missiles from Iran by 92% within 5 days; took out the top 10 nuclear program scientists and crippled two major nuclear sites all before the US bomb run.
Had the war ended there, Iran's nuclear program would still be a mess and Israel would be seen as undisputed king of the region. The Five Day War would replace the Six Day War as the most daring and successful military operation in the region. As a result, US-led peace conferences in the region and about the region would become less relevant, and Arab (Qatari) money flowing to the US to influence its policy in the region would dry up since Israel would be seen as The Boss doing its own thing on its own terms regardless what the US wants.
As is, Israel is a top 7 defense exporting country who long term self funds 85% of its defense/war budget, and its tech is the most likely or second most likely (depending on the count) foreign-produced component in US war planes, ships, and radars. Getting the full and self credit to run an Iran op on its own, would make Israel stronger which is why the US came running with a bomb run (after Israel cleared the skies), and speaks of it as if the war was worthless without it.
Getting in on the action rather than Israel running the show is also why the US was motivated to join the war this year. Between Israel proving last June that Iran is weaker than assumed and protests popping off by New Year's, the time was perfect to go in for the kill as Israel's PM advocated for when he was in the US over New Year's. Problem was that the US wanted in on the action; couldn't afford to have regime change in Iran by Israel doing all the hits so the US sent assets to the region and by the time it was ready, the Moment has passed. The protesters and all those willing to take to the streets were already crushed.
Had Israel gone its own way things in Iran would be different, but the interest of the US to have power in the region couldn't afford it. Everyone sane in DC gets this dynamic which is why they want the US-Israeli relationship to continue as it did for decades. It keeps the US powerful in the region and a beneficiary of Israeli tech too delivered at a steep discount by form of US "aid" that is mostly spent in the US.
Fake Patriots on the other hand are too dumb to notice all this and are advocating for a US fallback from the region in current form which would make the US less relevant and Israel more powerful.
The screen grab is bonus reading.
