anyways, I just think there's obviously a spectrum to this.
and i -am- firmly on the side of "just play the game yourself if you can" w/o knowing too much, if you want a purer experience.
but, the over-simplified Gamer Authenticity argument irks me, idk...
How much about the game can a player see before it's even spoiled?
Watching a clip from a Let's Play? Reading a review?
Is knowing the title even spoiling the experience?
If I use a different controller with Turbo or Macros, is that the same?
@CowBoyCaleb07@Muckraker1611 objectively better, other reload feels frantic while this smooth af.
Master Chief is supposed to be a perfect super soldier, so why would he ever need a 2nd slap to make sure the new magazine is on there?
and assume he stops on last bullet and doesn't need to chamber a new one.
i've seen exactly one Austin person recommend Austin for young ppl, and literally everything I've ever seen since then is like "do u want a US city that half-asses every other US city positive quality, while still fundamentally requiring a car and AC for everything?"
Yeah bro you have to visit Austin. You can pay $40 for a food truck entree and eat it at a picnic table with flies everywhere. Misters spray water all over your food it’s 100 degrees
@brianonhere what were ppl arguing against that made you twt this?
i feel like the biggest issue rly was the ridiculous TWO redundant stairwells, for anything over 3 stories. Elevators on the other hand are just so useful despite the cost that i'm more tempted to forgive them.
The Backrooms itself should have always been the monster imo, even if that is less immediately conveyable.
I think the Backrooms should try to consume ppl by getting them lost inside its maze-like structure, feeling familiar at first but suffocating later.
Iron Lung vs. Backrooms.
Iron Lung is the better horror film imo. They're kinda different, but I think Iron Lung succeeds much more at doing more with less, where the Backrooms ironically does less with more.
The core concept of the Iron Lung Blood Ocean succeeds at creating an environment that feels as hostile as the monster in it.
The backrooms feel comfortable compared to the monsters in it, which I think is a mistake.
