@OttawaCitizen What about derelict buildings that the City owns? Like the chunk of the former Broadview School that is boarded up and rotting in place? If citizens demand buildings must be retained, they should also be made to find funding to renovate them or pull them down.
@nationalpost This will plummet already dropping revenue, drive customers to alternatives, and force Canada Post to lay off staff. It may even hasten the end of a national postal service in dire need of redesign. Shame on both sides. Greedy asks from CUPW and incompetence from CP.
@OccTranspo@PringleJosh Post a sign stating it is unmaintained in winter. Use at your own risk. Done. It was originally intended for x-country ski - why stop now??
@DvdHam @AmateurOttawa @JLeiper @ArielTroster My point exactly. We the people of the city were told this would be an all-season bridge. @_MarkSutcliffe what’s the rationale behind reneging? It cannot be safety as this was designed with all-season in mind.
@JLeiper @ArielTroster Are we going to take this? Our taxes paid for this bridge, our votes supported it, it is our bridge and it was promised to be part of a winter trail. We do not accept this ridiculous backstep.
@financialpost@nationalpost Do we view 62% on-time performance for Via as a success? The Toronto-Ottawa run is so rarely on time it’s effectively useless for reliable business travel. Passengers are forced to devote an entire day to travel.
