Year 8 Bates at Brooklands school are listening live #BBClivelesdons

[Lindsay Sambridge @weller75]

@janeconsidine Exactly - shameful the way they treat pupils and teachers!

[Lindsay Sambridge @weller75]

@ScottPughsley A joke! Feel for all those teachers who submitted a level results! When will they listen?!

@MrBoothY6 Great post - fab selections offered - I’ve recorded some I haven’t read, thank you. I would only add the Northern Lights trilogy.

[Lindsay Sambridge @weller75]

@ChloeLiddiard7 @MrBoothY6 So do I! I adore this book. Read it so many times and still cry. I love that children can see so many emotions in book and where a book can take you.

[Lindsay Sambridge @weller75]

@Kathy_Smith23 @Read_ToftHill @MrBoothY6 I’m glad I didn’t dream this as discussed it at my school@and no one seemed to have ever noticed it. I rephrased it to my y5s (bit was about 10 years ago) - great book! I would probably explain it if they had a copy or explain my rephrasing.

@peckamglobe @MrBoothY6 I did When the Crayons Quit - covered Nusery to Year 6 and there’s an activity you can do keeping the rules in the book too.

[Lindsay Sambridge @weller75]

@tes Oh yes it’s just like a holiday isn’t?!

[Lindsay Sambridge @weller75]

@RufusWilliam Brilliant - I work in a different county so fingers crossed 😂. Although if theirs closes and mine doesn’t 🤯

@pauldixtweets Gave your book at plug at recent behaviour training at the work where I work. Loved reading your book, mainly as it affirms my beliefs: “When you are stumped by the behaviour, when you don’t know what to do next, when nothing seems to work, kindness is always the best response.”

@theprimaryhead @chrisdysonHT This thread has made me laugh!

[Emily Weston @primaryteachew]

Starting this today 😊👏🏻

Love having a reading challenge that I can do with my class!

@FakeHeadteacher Do the job you’re employed for and hopefully inspire the next generations too. It takes time - and without barriers it will take all of our time.

A HUGE THANK YOU to each and everyone of you who have supported our Reverse Advent appeal and filled up our Foodbank shelves. We've been overwhelmed by your generosity. Today we are delivering festive hampers to local families struggling this Christmas time.

@BBCWatchdog whilst my husband is awaiting for a refund or replacement for a missing t shirt I thought I would try to tweet #jddports for support. I have been amazed at the number of complaints about their online service! It may be of interest to you. We ordered in early Nov.
