@TfL Thank you for your response, but it is your “specialist team” that have been dealing with the appeals I’ve referenced. They’re not coming across as very specialised: requesting further evidence of payment of a ULEZ charge when the receipt & confirmation emails have been provided!

What is happening with the ULEZ charging system? I know of at least three friends who are being threatened with fines at present even though they’ve paid the charges. The way @TfL are behaving when you appeal seems to be purposely obstructive, with the threats of double penalties

being made to encourage you to pay the initial penalty. Remember, this is after you have ALREADY paid. This seems to be total chaos, where they are hoping people will just pay out of fear, rather than query the initial penalty. How many more people are going through this?
