Agree on this. There’s so many great dictation apps, I almost never want to use a built-in one. I don’t think it would be a good use of effort for @t3dotcodes

@cheatyyyy I generally think voice to text is an OS-level feature, not an app level one. We will try to find a way, but sadly it’s not as simple as people think. We can’t do any voice to text stuff from your existing subscriptions

@0xluffy @sporadica If you have depression/anxiety or other mental health challenges you can very easily get a letter from a therapist that a pet would be an Emotional Support Animal. California laws are very favorable for ESAs; they trump pet restrictions in leases pretty much always.

@clairevo @graceclarke @petergyang @pitdesi yeah the lack of transparency around who is even at the company is basically what turned me off of giving it access to anything for now. It's clearly very powerful and well-built, but handing over all my data to a nameless, faceless entity is a tough pill to swallow
