@Smudger_95 No arsenal fan, but surely you didnt want atletico to beat them, theyre a hundred times worse! North London forever is terrible tho! ππ
@GeorgeDobell1 499 runs in that match in 40 overs. How many days in test match history have ever had 500 runs in a whole day? Can't imagine its too many...
@mrandrewmoon Its time our recruitment team start asking opposition fans for their views on a player on social media before we sign them π. Pretty sure every Sunderland fan said this would happen when we signed him!
@PompeyPedro I think they are just small clips from longer video blogs, rather than uploaded videos for clicks. Much like @officialfournil videos etc. They can't just clip out the ending of the games on these videos as much as they'd like too π its provided some great entertainment tho!
5 year anniversary of my radio debut after I spoke to @tobytarrant live on radio X wishing @Higgsy84 a happy birthday in the request hour! Still postman Matt and Postman Pat π
@FootballCliches@CDEccleshare@D_C_W In this game today, aldershot scored their second goal in the 49th minute, but their third in the 46th minute. Dorking scored their first goal in the 56th minute, but second in the 55th min. Don't know if this kind of thing happens often, but thought it was a strange little quirk
@dreamteamfc@FootballCliches steve cotterill played in the premier league?! This has blown my mind. But does 7 games back in 1992 qualify someone to be known as a former Premier league player? I know 1 appearance technically does, but just feels wrong!
@NTT20Pod Surely thats the beauty of a podcast. No one is forcing you to listen to every word. Or you can just listen to bits at a time. I only really listen to the championship roundup (pompey fan) and when we were in league one I'd regularly just skip to that part π
@FootballCliches He sounds like hes trying too hard to pronounce everything correctly and not say any slang terms or make a mistake. I imagine people that know him would be sat there saying that it just doesn't sound like he normally does π
@Tomwells81@IanDarke As an outsider im a bit confused about the argument of him leaving for nothing. What if no club (more so Madrid this summer) decided they didn't want to spend 30/40m+ on Trent which theyd have to do if he was in contract. Is he supposed to stay at Liverpool forever in that case?
@WobyTestwood@SkyFootball@FootballCliches What has this podcast done to its listeners?! I saw the tweet, then saw the video and immediately thought the same thing! It's also got a bit of a glance to it too. No way that's fired π
@IanDarke Why are they even bothering to look if there isn't a single appeal?! Said it all that no one even knew what the ref was going to the screen to look at.
@Ksshaw61@mrandrewmoon Bishop very slightly (and I mean very slightly) touched the keeper with his arm. Nowhere near what their scorer done to Ogilvie for their goal, which I don't think was a foul either. Really not sure how he disallowed it!
@FootballCliches A strange uproar about a goal not counting as someone's goal after he hits the bar! Stuart Pearce described the goal as one of the best FA Cup goals he's ever seen. Imagine in 20 years having to say that Ortegas own goal was the best you've ever seen π
