Thus, posting my own art only feels like a contribution to the overcrowded void.
I know not everyone experiences social media like I do, but I ask myself what the point is.
I get the value of a strong online presence for career, but the personal expense can run deep.
I haven't felt like posting my art to social media for some time.
There are many reasons.

A thread on why I'm not in the game these days:
I stay creative by staying in touch with my emotions, but that seems downright impossible if we’re expected to compartmentalize this type of grief. Are we expected to stay numb? To only grieve outside of work hours? I can only delude myself so much after years of a pandemic
this isn’t even a rhetorical question. This isn’t normal, how do we just go on doing our little tasks when this is happening? How does anyone expect us to give our creativity when we’re helpless as witnesses to a genocide?
Hi tweeter world, it’s been a minute.
Life has been a hell of a whirlwind the last few months honestly, yet despite the many changes and recent art blocks, I find myself craving creativity again.
so apparently there's a vaccine for utis now AND you can get the hpv vaccine even if you're up to 45 years old and these two things are not universal knowledge so, y'know, just putting that out there
I know my reach on here is garbage, but if you could vote on my partner’s Gremlins gouache painting poster design, that would be amazing! @poon_isabel made some great animated gremlins to promote it as well.
