This is a great book @HwsEleutheroi

Fantastic quote used by @HwsEleutheroi in the icon veneration debate on Saturday!

I just realized that Craig Truglia keeps calling James White "Pastor White" instead of "Dr White". Now wouldn't the doctor title supercede the 'pastor' title, and therefore be the one to use formally?

Nicea 2: If you don't kiss the icon you are Anathema.

Paul: "Even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be condemned to hell"

You know it seams like Nicea 2 has given another Gospel. Anathema to them.

Coming to America

[Weslee Cook @Wesleecraft]

@dk_catechumen @HwsEleutheroi But the debate thesis was as defined by Nicea 2. and Nicea 2 defines kissing the icon as part of the gospel. and there is 0 evidence that the early church treated icons like that or that it was passed down by the apostles.

[Weslee Cook @Wesleecraft]

Why does everyone say @HwsEleutheroi Lost the debate vs Craig Truglia? Craig did not prove the thesis. All he did was show that before nicea 2 people had icons. he didnt show that veneration defined by the council was apostolic.

One good thing about James White is his emphasis on equal scales over the years. You know, honesty in argumentation, etc...

The Orthodox have taken as their mantle a brief statement out of its context in cross ex regarding personal knowledge of Christ.

James' consistentcy... 🧵

“But even if we (or an angel from heaven) should preach a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be condemned to hell! ”
Galatians 1:8

The EO church is condemned by Paul because of that council.

Excellent debate review with a great quote at the end from someone Truglia cited for his position. But this particular quote goes directly against the debate thesis!

another great clip from the debate.

No Craig failed to prove the thesis. So he did not win that debate in the slightest.

Joel has such a low and unbiblical view of Women. its disgusting. "Women are NPCs" "You cannot reason with Women" he treats Women as if they are incapable of rational thought and are on a lower level. Im sorry but have you ever met a women Joel? All my female friends are rational
