@Lincoln_VB I counted about 12 points that Nebraska gave Creighton for free from service errors and hitting errors.
Hard to win with that level of mistakes.
@hudeatsbugs@KenSiemek Surface temp doesn't have to be 32 for snow to fall. 32-35 degrees is perfect for heavy wet snow. Snow comes from much colder air and doesn't melt by the time it reaches the ground. Heavy snow piles up quick even with warmish ground because it's such a good insulator.
@NebraskaDog34@rustywx I'm not rusty, but the high res models have been pretty good this year. HRRR has a good snow to liquid formula vs some of the others which are either 10:1 calculated or use the Kuchera model.
@rustywx HRRR has been pretty good this winter, specifically the high res ensemble. NWS seems to favor the higher totals at this point too, so they're in agreement with your totals. We haven't had a good snow storm in a few years...maybe since 2021-2022?
@deltaIV9250@SciGuySpace Would it be generating power and have good comms if it was on its side? Seems unlikely. But who knows?
Sounds like the main issue was having to manually shut down the main engine
@NWSOmaha Why isn't the Lincoln area in a blizzard warning as well? Just as strong sustained winds as Cass county, same snowfall potential according to NWS predictions. Yet Lancaster is only in a winter weather advisory?
@RightWingCope Trump will act like he's an expert at air traffic control, being a pilot, etc. like he does with everything, when in reality he knows literally fuck all about any of it. Then he'll blame someone or some entity and never in a million years take any blame for his actions.
@hutchinson He did it twice though Hutch. Literally back-to-back. You don't accidentally do a motion like that twice in a row. I refuse to give Muskrat the benefit of the doubt, ever.
