Teacher Twitter…I want to have my 11/12 lit class read a story next week, but not a Christmas story. Anyone know any good winter solstice stories, or stories about winter that don’t center Christian Christmas?
@MrsDMaths I have never NOT worn shorts under my dresses…these thighs got no gap. Plus, I teach jr high and high school, and the possibility that my dress comes up at some point, while rare, has me terrified
@offgridteacher @mrsjjee Use maps! I don’t teach elementary but I am a middle school SS teacher in a district with no SS until 7th grade. My students have few map skills but they LOVE looking at maps and talking about place
#teachertwitter this year, I bought these to have in my classroom…I don’t love am*zon but I do love a deal…and lots of my kids come to school having just rolled out of bed. I think this will be a welcome addition to my pads/tampons/bandaids/masks drawer https://t.co/NKLa9ngG1u
#teachertwitter I am teaching Cambridge AS level Lit this coming year for the first time (similar to AP lit) and I would love some advice for intro activities. When I taught AS Lang in the past, we annotating and analyzed “marginalia” by Billy Collins
