@carolinekellyxo@EllaLevineNYC In Japan, geishas posted their cards at restaurants. It was the best restaurant guide since they so often frequented the best restaurants. A few restaurants still keep the tradition. Ok, not directly geisha marketing, but I suspect it worked for them as well.
@JolieStassi Good grief seasonal jobs don't close today. That's total BS. I'm a Zion fan (Springdale is kind of cute, Zion is spectacular if relatively small) or Redwood National Park. Hard to beat the trees.
@viviennecolenyc Zaborin is a truly, truly elegant ryokan (near ski areas). Two onsens per room (water from local spring). And I highly recommend some backcountry ski days.
@MsAnastasiaRose That is a great list! The theme of focusing on positive personal interactions rings so true Another goal is to ensure I'm a proactively positive person for those relationships. I find such investments pay back and likely others consciously or no are applying the same metrics.
@lialevworld What new satellite phone? I guess it shows how many people are Musk vapor believers if prompted! Starlink will support cell at some point. Meanwhile, to quote one story: Recent viral claims of a "Tesla Pi phone" are based on misinformation and AI-generated content.
@shelbygracenyc My stubborn Tibetan terrier went for a week. The facility should offer a 15 to 30 minute "class"; how to do to keep the good habits (often consistency and firmness). I've never heard of a dog coming back aggressive. There's no shame in using a pro trainer (reacting to posts).
@maya__brenner Cafe Pasqual's perhaps first thing for breakfast in order to get in. Very genuine Santa Fe. House of Eternal Return (haven't been but curious). Railyard district (for art). Canyon Road is getting touristy. Drive to Taos for sure; visit the pueblos.
