First visit to Baffle Haus, #motorcycle cafe/workshop/store on A4042 between Abergavenny - Penperlleni. Absolute destination if you're in the area. Cool cars scattered about too. South Wales needed a place like this, esp after demise of Iron Horse cafe.

@writethewrongs2 And yet, strangely, we've had a thriving flock of house sparrows for years in our Bristol garden. They eat about 1kg of peanuts each week! Lots of cats but very little predation. In fact there are sparrowhawks too; they, and magpie nest raiders, kill more.

Finally managed to shoot a half-decent #FoxOfTheDay photo. This is our regular #Bristol garden visitor Bold Fox. So named because, unlike his wife Shy Fox, he's become quite accustomed to me.

@JubbyJJ @RichardBowler1 @ChrisGPackham Knew this. Of course not everyone is sympathetic. But on balance they're still safer in the city compared with the barbaric cruelty visited on them by many of the country set. For my part I feel privileged such beautiful creatures visit our garden.

@LumpyandFriends Same as baseless concern about foxes and cats. They peacefully coexist because cats can uniquely strike out with claws and inflict serious harm. No sensible animal would mess with a cat.

@RichardBowler1 @ChrisGPackham I'd wondered about that for our garden-visiting foxes. So a raw, unshelled egg is okay then. I've put hard boiled & shelled eggs out for them occasionally.

@UnderwaterMedia Is that a native British species? Used to visit an aquarium shop that had a v big Peruvian red tail catfish, kind of shop mascot. Owner would hand feed and give belly rubs. One of the most charming fish I've ever met. And I have met a few.

@classicbikeshow Yamaha speedblock on yellow looks so good. Object of desire to my teen self. Back then it seemed, to me, like a big bike but when I see one now I realise how small they are actually.
