We had all the ingredients for a good campaigning meeting this month – bikes, tea, passion for change, and cake – two types of cake 🍰

We met at Triangle Studios on Church Street, near to the bike shop Westminster Wheels, and had some interesting people around the table.

We looked at what wards everyone lived in, and the candidates who had been elected. We had people from Pimlico, South Pimlico, Abbey Road and more present. 

Aswell as engaging with our local councillors, we are hoping to meet with members of the cabinet too.

It’s going to be a crucial next few months in Westminster, and @Westminster_LCC have already met up to discuss their strategy ⬇️

They’ll be liasing with Councillors/new cabinet members and working where schemes are at.

We had our monthly meeting of the Westminster Cycling Campaign on Monday night, just four days after the elections.

There was a lot to discuss, as you might imagine. The Conservatives have reclaimed control of Westminster council, securing 32 seats to Labour’s 22. And ..
