In addition Hayden Johnson was named Outstanding Sax Soloist of the festival, Bella Gerloff was named outstanding Rhythm Section Soloist of the festival, and Don De Dieu Bolingo was named the Overall Outstanding Soloist of the Festival!!

These groups killed it again at the NSBA State Jazz Festival! Stage Band took 1st Place in the division for 2nd Bands, and CJB again won Class 5A and the overall Sweepstakes Award! 3rd year in a row for both of these groups to be State Champions!!

Last night we got to celebrate this awesome senior class! They have been through so much over the past 4 years, and have led our program with dignity, pride, kindness, and determination. They are such special people and we are so glad that we have had you as part of our lives!

Earlier this week Oakdale students took a short break from studies to listen to the Leadership Team from the @westside_band!

The musicians shared several songs and important life lessons. Safety, respect and kindness were some of the themes.
