An 18-year-old civilian, Abinet Almaw, was killed in an artillery attack in Sinan Woreda, East Gojjam Zone, after Abiy regime forces fired shells while attempting to transport logistics from Debre Markos to Rebu Gebeya. The victim, a religious student in Debre Markos, was traveling home to celebrate Easter with his family when he was struck. Reports indicate the artillery fire, launched from the direction of Enarata Kebele toward Debrezeyit at around 5:00 PM today, indiscriminately hit civilian areas. Ongoing shelling and drone-supported movements in the Debre Markos–Rebu Gebeya corridor continue to pose serious risks to civilians, particularly during increased holiday travel.

Some survivors recounting the horrific scale of the massacre of #Amhara civilians two days ago in Jawi. These lucky survivors say there were no Fano forces in their areas. Yet fascist @AbiyAhmedAli ordered cold-blooded drone bombing of the civilian population of Jawi - causing mass murder of civilians. The fascist Abiy government knew there were no Fano fighters in the area, still decided to drone bomb the area targeting and mass murdering the civilian #Amhara population!

This horror and cowardly attack by Abiy forces is in addition to the targeted large scale coordinated attacks on #Amhara in Wollega by Abiy Ahmed Ali agents. Both of these mass murders and attacks happened only a few days after yet another targeted massacre of upwards of 34 Orthodox Christians in Arsi zone by forces loyal to evil Abiy Ahmed Ali.

The three major attacks and murderous campaigns (Arsi, Wollega and Jawi) happened one after another within a very short period of time.

Such mass attacks and the atrocities being committed on #Amhara civilians living outside of Amhara region, together with Abiy’s all out #WarOnAmhara in #Amhara region itself using the entire resources of the so-called “national defence forces” show that fascist @AbiyAhmedAli and his regime are singularly focused on destroying #Amhara.
