i’m team eukaryotic cell🥇i mean, unlike prokaryotic cells, eukaryotic cells have us! a control center that contains DNA and is surrounded by a double membrane, what more could you ask for🤪🤩🏆 #FhsTwitterWar@MrsK_FHS
shapeshifter here!! did you know the shape of the nucleus will conform to the shape of the cell?! we already knew the nucleus was the brain of the cell but we didn’t know it was this smart🧠👀🤔 #FhsTwitterWar@MrsK_FHS
hey @ red blood cells and @ muscle cells you’re missing out without me!! (the only 2 complete human cells that don’t have a nucleus) meanwhile i’m out here controlling what’s going on in every other complete human cell🐸☕️🥇🏆 #FHSTwitterWar@MrsK_FHS
just got my Senior Superlative, “Large & In Charge💪🏻.” i mean, of course. i’m the biggest organelle in the cell, coming in at 5 micrometers in diameter (give or take a lil depending on the stage i’m in🤫) #FHStwitterwar@MrsK_FHS
We all know eukaryotic cells have one nucleus but the cells of slime molds can contain millions of nuclei! Since when does mold look so cool? #FHSTwitterWar@MrsK_FHS
Another day of storing and replicating DNA and transcribing and translating RNA. Same call the Mitochondria the POWERHOUSE but look at all this WORK. #NoOffDays 😤 #FHStwitterwar@MrsK_FHS
ATTENTION! We are now announcing the grand opening of our new factory, here we exclusively process and sort proteins that are shipped from the endoplasmic reticulum. #FHSTwitterWar@MrsK_FHS
Hey @wethenucleus - Can you direct @RoughKwonTheER to slow down its protein production? We're kind of swamped with deliveries right now. Thanks! #FHSTwitterWar@MrsK_FHS
Yea we’re in control, nbd. if you wanna know all of the 17892863 details why we’re in control, why we’re so important, and what we all do, take a look at this article from the Journal of Cell Science!! (17892863 may be slightly exaggerated) https://t.co/5Q5gdiJD5F
We all know the nucleus is the “control center” of the cell but recent studies have discovered we also act as a mechano-sensor which responds to physical stimulus in the environment of the cell! How cool is that? Check out this article for more information

Just like we have pores in our skin, the nucleus also has pores which are obviously a lot smaller but, they protect DNA from escaping while allowing RNA to leave in order to send out messages to other components of the cell instructing them on what to do @MrsK_FHS#FHSTwitterWar
need an organelle to take all the responsibilities off of your hands? call us, Nuclei the Science Guys!! We already control and direct all of the activities going on in a cell, we can handle it 😉🔬🥇#NaturalLeader#FHSTwitterWar@MrsK_FHS
y’all couldn’t touch us if you tried. we’re surrounded by the nuclear membrane (yeah, our own personal envelope)!! it’s looking out for us, don’t even try to touch us nuclei #FHSTwitterWar@MrsK_FHS
@RoughKwonTheER the real question is.. what would you organelles do without US? we are the BRAIN of the cell, you all truly wouldn’t know what to do without us. 😤🧠 #boom#FHSTwitterWar@MrsK_FHS
