WEX is gearing up for a spectacular summer
Our team is working around the clock so you can experience our product firsthand
We’ve been working on this for over half a year, and soon you’ll see WEX in all its glory
We’re building a product that will be useful, convenient, and indispensable for the WEB3 and WEB2 communities
Major updates are coming soon
Good morning, my internet friends.
In recent months, we've seen the NFT market warm up, which makes me happy, but of all the NFT collections, of which about a thousand have been launched, only three to five are truly meaningful. A lot of big names have launched their collections "for culture," and no one needs them. The truth is, at this point in the market, utility and functionality should be paramount.
Me and my team are currently developing the concept for an NFT collection for our @wex_finance project. It won't be a “penny” collection. Every WL will be hand-picked and GTD. Only real people, only one NFT per person, every WL issued by the partner community will also be associated with real people.
This isn't a "culture" project; it's a purely practical collection in which we want to receive initial support from the community for the final stage of our project's development. We choose whoever we can to remain independent from private investment funds and independently choose our development path, regardless of financial obligations.
We don't have any big names behind us, there are just five people united by one idea, about 8 months of work and the project's MVP.
What do you think? Can projects still raise money through the sale of NFT collections, or are we at a market stage where hype is driven by bundles?
We're using @privy for social login and embedded wallets in @wex_finance.
Users can sign in with X, and Telegram login will also be available - @privy supports both options natively. This gives users:
- One-tap login via their preferred social account
- An embedded wallet with no seed phrase shown in the interface
- The ability to export the private key anytime and move to full self-custody
@privy removes a lot of the usual complexity when building consumer crypto products. We didn’t need to build custom authentication or key management ourselves.
We’re currently closed testing on @base Sepolia - the testnet of one of the fastest-growing L2s. We chose it for its consistently low fees, strong performance, and good developer experience for apps with frequent onchain actions.
The core logic lives in an immutable escrow smart contract. The platform never has access to user funds - we are not a custodian. Funds are only released when the seller explicitly confirms onchain that they received the cash in person.
wEX loves Breadio
The entire wEX team decided to use breadio as their pfp
Why?
- we love MegaETH
- we like @Tuteth_ approach
- @ahs_crypto & @mikalaila_ support Breadio as members of 69

wEX Escrow system
The system is designed to separate responsibilities for better reliability and stability, which is especially important in financial workflows
The API acts as a coordinator:
• it handles incoming requests
• validates logic,
• stores data in DB
However, it is important to understand that the API does not directly perform mission-critical operations
Instead, those actions are handled by a dedicated background worker, allowing tasks like wallet creation and fund processing to run in a controlled, trackable way with logging and retry mechanisms
A reverse proxy to manage traffic, handles secure connections, and filter requests before they reach internal services.
From a technical standpoint, the system follows an event-driven, service-oriented approach. The API sends commands to queue, where they are processed asynchronously by the worker, keeping the API fast and responsive
The worker communicates with blockchain networks through adapters that standardize interactions across different chains, and writes results back to DB, which acts as the main source of truth
Additional components like object storage are used for handling unstructured data, keeping them decoupled from the core system
Overall, this architecture improves scalability, avoids blocking operations, and helps maintain consistent performance even under higher load
wEX isn’t just a P2P exchange - it’s:
• Innovative
• Secure
• Convenient
We have a cutting-edge team of top specialists who are fully immersed in their field
That’s why we’re not just building an exchange
We’re implementing a scoring system so you can see who you’re doing business with
No other exchange or platform offers this level of internal trust
wEX is the future of P2P
@waleswoosh as a young project still under construction, we want to sincerely highlight that this initiative can be incredibly valuable for companies like ours
it helps us properly assess our own capabilities and find the most suitable investment programs and funding opportunities

It's a very difficult task to find a balance between simplicity and functionality.
