To all parents and carers, the UK's watchdog is absolutely right! Teach online safety to your children like you would road safety!

@LionofDogeness@ObsoleteSony I agree. Although the PS3 released some absolute crackers too. Bad start but became very strong after that. PS4 onwards though...I'm in total agreement with you. Shocking and very sad fall from grace really.
Pale Blue Dot is a photo of Earth that was taken by the Voyager 1 space probe in 1990 from a distance of about 6 billion kilometers (3.7 billion miles) as it was leaving our solar system. This is what Carl Sagan said about the photo:
"Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it, everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor, and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every 'superstar,' every 'supreme leader,' every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there — on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
The Earth is the only world known so far to harbor life. There is nowhere else, at least in the near future, to which our species could migrate. Visit, yes. Settle, not yet. Like it or not, for the moment the Earth is where we make our stand. It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known.”
Understanding the risks and dangers of AI are important for our children to recognise. Have a go at this quiz. Can you tell apart the AI scams from reality? I scored 8/8 by the way 😁💪💪💪.

A huge thank you to the BBC and the Micro:bit Educational Foundation for our free micro:bit kits. Such a generous offer and can't wait to start using it with our children 🤩🤩. #BBC#microbit_edu
Usual hypocrisy from the west who can't be happy for India's great achievement of landing on the dark side of the moon. See their rise as a threat so let's resort to racism 🙄. And I'm not even from India.

This video just made my morning so wanted to share. Let's all spread something positive for a change no matter what it is. #positivity#worlddoesn'thavetobeupsidedown

If your story was converted into music, how would it sound? Year 5 explored this in Computing Club to celebrate World Book Day. Write a short story, decide whether you want to make it happy, sad, scary or peaceful and see how it sounds. @WexhamPS
The number of times I desperately tried calling my doctor's surgery today to make an appointment from 8am when lines opened to 9am when they closed. Never managed to get through until 9am when an automated message tells me that appointments for the day were all gone...😤.
RIP Maxi Jazz, lead singer of Faithless. One of my favourite dance bands of all time.
Promoted so many powerful messages through your music on making this world a better place. Genuinely sad about this 😭. Your legacy will live on through your music!
If things are going to get better in this country, then the people need to come together and help each other, support our communities. Below is the perfect example - love it! This Tory government is not going to do anything for us. They don't care. So let's support one and other.
Sorry Mark Zuckerberg but you're not fooling anyone. Metaverse is not a representation of the future, it's just another opportunity for you to obtain people's data and make money.

Even as someone who has loved technology all my life, I'm really not liking where things are heading at the moment. Our children are already exposed to the ugly side of social media. Cyberbullying, inappropriate content and all the rest.
Our children need to learn to socialise and interact in the real world. Creating a digital world where people can 'socialise' virtually by posing as an avatar is the complete opposite of this. And let's not forget the can of worms this opens when it comes to security risks.
Our final monsters brought to life through the wonders of programming 🤩🤩. Thank you again Mrs Jenkins, Langley Grammar and Digital Schoolhouse. @LangleyGS_Tech@WexhamPS
Amazing experience at our Computing workshop at @LangleyGS_Tech with Mrs Jenkins for our Y6 children. A huge thank you. Our children were so engaged from start to finish. Didn't even need a break. Real progression in under two hours. First, we connected our Crumbles kit.@WexhamPS
