@MrJmZack ...do you think you will achieve by pretending I strawman'd you?
Just say you don't think this geographical constant in the series matters much, that's a valid stance, but don't accuse myself of something then prove yourself wrong the next tweet, I thought better of you.
@MrJmZack ...a Mount Hebra, you were wrong about Hyrule's Spectacle Rock being separated from Death Mountain in other games beyond BotW-TotK, so what are you doing here, man? You engaged in a conversation about these topics and were proven wrong, so what...
@MrJmZack In fact your talk about Eldin Mountains just further separate them conceptually. BotW's Death Mountain in the Eldin Mountain Range can't be the Mount Hebra in the Death Mountain Range from other games, this separation only happens here.
@MrJmZack And what I'm saying is that Spectacle Rock doesn't change. That's the entire point of the argument, Spectacle Rock is part of Mount Hebra, in the Death Mountain range.
Only BotW-TotK feature a Hyrule where Spectacle Rock and Death Mountain are spearated.
@MrJmZack whoops fucked up that first pic
Oh well who cares, the point is that Echoes of Wisdom is consistent with ALttP and ALBW, Mount Hebra/Death Mountain placement makes perfect sense compared to OoT, to each other and to the two first Zeldas, only BotW-TotK pulls a new Death Mountain.
@MrJmZack EoW merely fixed that localisation mistake, Mount Hebra is still exactly in the same mountain range as in other games of the same era.
You are confusing Mount Hebra from the Death Mountain range with the separated Eldin Volcano from EoW. The name Death Mountain is never used here
@MrJmZack In fact, given the ravine separating the gerudo highlands from Hebra region in BotW-TotK it seems like these were originally one and were merely separated by geological activity (or some cataclysm), which actually fits perfectly with the map of Great Hyrule as well.
@MrJmZack The Death Mountain range has Mount Hebra, and within Mount Hebra there's Spectacle Rock. This truth is only questioned in BotW and TotK where there's a new Death Mountain separated from the area corresponding to OG Hyrule where Spectacle Rock is found.
@MrJmZack I've read countless of documents and interviews and none of them factually disprove the zonai Hyrule being built upon the previous one, if anything, some hint at the possibility.
Mind you showing me specifically the part that excuses separating Spectacle Rock and Death Mountain?
@MrJmZack That doesn't prove me wrong. It's the same geographical area (expanded), yes, but Spectacle Rock's placement proves a massive time skip, everything seen in both BotW and TotK has to happen loooooooooong after other games, flashbacks included.
