🔐 Update on the Upcoming Verification Process
We know many of you are looking forward to verification - and we’re stepping closer to that moment.
This process is designed to be structured, transparent, and fair, ensuring every qualified Human Node moves forward with clarity. Here’s how the flow will work:
Phase 1: Matching
You begin by tapping “Match Curator.”
An anonymous list will appear, and you can choose a curator to match with.
After selecting, you enter the matching state and wait to be successfully picked. Once picked, your application advances to the submission stage.
Phase 2: Submission
When it’s your turn, a strict 24-hour countdown will start.
You must complete and submit your documents within this time. Missing the deadline may move you to a later pool, delaying your progress.
There are 3 submission levels. After completing all required steps, you press Submit, and your status changes to In Review.
Phase 3: Verification Process
This is the last stage - your application will be reviewed carefully.
This process is more than a technical update - it’s a defining milestone before full verification rollout.
Prepare early. Understand each phase.
Be ready when your turn comes!

reader, please indulge my autism as i give you something like an industry map of the now 5-year old “AI games space”.
you might extrapolate from progress elsewhere and reasonably assume that we are in some kind of “golden era” for AI games.
if that’s too strong, you might assume at least that there ARE in fact such things as “AI games” on the market today, and that people are playing them.
in reality, “ai games” in 2026 basically resemble “crypto games” in 2022 - all flash, no thunder, and basically nothing is working.
to date:
- 0 household-name AI games, studios or personalities.
- a vast ocean of turbo-autistic “infinite” text RPGs no one wants to play, except for the people who habitually jack off to them
- roughly two dozen “ai game making platforms”, each with 1 million terrible games and 10 committed users doing their best to generate VC-subsidized porn.
-a string of companies who raised for AI games studio and then pivoted hard. if they’re still in consumer, they’re in what we euphemistically call “chat” - a product category with notably dogshit unit economics whose local maxima appear to be either porn or child enslavement.
- endless unfinished vibecoded threejs demakes of PS1 games from boomers who haven’t played a game in 25 years. (have you ever played any of these to completion? has anyone?)
- lots of (imo justified) hype around AI world models - but no clear path to commercialization as yet and little serious thinking on how they intersect with traditional game engines.
- absolutely zero buy-in from large studios or the games industry more generally, where AI is still verboten and even dabbling is enough to see you review-bombed, cancelled, deplatformed or assaulted (yes. seriously)
- basically 0 novel thinking from silicon valley or elsewhere on the new types of games enabled by the most important technology since fire - beyond lazy thinking like “it’s literally infinite, bro”(requisite @simcluster plug and thank you @pet3rpan_ for the shoutout)
- lack of AI rigging models is STILL a hard blocker to use of generative 3D in games and has been for 2+ years, since all the AI 3D companies pivoted to CAD (and good for them!).
i’ve lived this for 3+ years now. I think i have a pretty good idea of the complex set of structural failures, plausible-sounding-but-poisonous ideas and funding bubbles that have caused this whole space to wither on the vine.
i will probably detail them in a future (better formatted!) post if there’s interest.
to be clear, there are loads of reasons to be optimistic. i have one life and believe it or not i’m spending it working in this space. i wake up every day excited - it’s corny, but i’m all in.
but currently i cannot think of a space in the broader AI revolution where the perception of the state of the art is so far divorced from reality.
