Happy Juneteenth! Silvia Hector Webber was a formerly enslaved woman who helped others to freedom in southern Texas. Also known as the “Harriet Tubman of Texas,” her story is at the center of a new exhibit at UT Austin. @PriscillaWT has the story.

The Webber Family Preservation Project is a Texas approved nonprofit IRS 501(c)(3) organization that was established to preserve, research & educate about the Webber Family of Texas and the Freedom Fighters they aided in the Underground Railroad into Texas.
