Lauren McCall honorably represented WGHS FFA in the North Region Area II Employability Skills event. This Leadership Development Event simulates "real world" activities, and is designed for members to demonstrate skills needed in seeking employment in the agriculture industry.
Elena Ward represented WGHS FFA in the North Region Area II Discussion Meet CDE! The competition allows for effective communication and exchange of ideas to address the production practices needed to reduce climate and weather risk for farmers and ranchers. @WGHS_warriors
Students in Basic Ag Science classes participated in plant science labs this week! Here are some photos from the “parts of plants” stations. Students were able to dissect and take a close look at roots, stems, flowers, leaves, seeds, and fruits!

Jessica Brogdon and Kennedy Henderson represented WGHS FFA at the Area 2 FFA banquet tonight. Jess ran for Area Officer and was elected Sentinel!! Way to go!!
WGHS FFA manages the recycling program at Walnut Grove High School. We collected over 3 TONS of material this year and came in 1st place in the Walton Clean and Beautiful school competition this year. Way to go WGHS!!
Unfortunately Jess didn’t make it to the final round, but she had the experience of a lifetime! We are so proud that Jessica Brogdon represented WGHS FFA as a state officer candidate!
Just a great evening with @GA_FFA, with some 5,000 strong turning out for the 90th annual state convention. Tremendous leadership qualities already from these young men and women.
Help support WGHS FFA!! We are currently selling locally made Addylu scented candles ($10) and wax melts ($5). Candles are made with soy wax so they are eco-friendly and burn longer. Orders and money are due by April 24th! They will be delivered by May 11th!
