Volume eating is a scam bcuz it just trains u to crave & expect more food in your stomach, so when u do get a normally portioned meal, u aren’t satisfied even when you’re supposed to be

@ohsnapitsvicki I used to be like that too and idk if you need my advice, but what I do is I eat a balanced meal and then I allow myself to eat ~400 cals of “that” food. It seems so little, but it deals with my cravings and the nutritious meal that I previously had - actually makes me full from+
@ohsnapitsvicki Ik it can be hard :(( Do you particularly struggle with “all or nothing” mindset and then binge after restricting or do you like “unhealthy” food in general and it’s difficult to maintain portion size?
Hot take but "in moderation" is terrible diet advice for a lot of binge eaters because ppl don't understand that it gets to the point of a literal addiction you wouldn't tell an alcoholic to just have a little sip and expect that to solve their problems idk.
