NEW: Disney+ has revealed a global distribution deal with The Pokémon Company International that will bring new and classic Pokémon programming to Disney XD and Disney+.

The deal includes Aardman’s new stop-motion series “Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu,” debuting in 2027, along with “Pokémon the Series: The Beginning,” featuring Ash and Pikachu.

NEW: Walt Disney Imagineering shared a look at how forced perspective is being used to bring Casita to life for Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto in the upcoming Tropical Americas land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

In the latest episode of “We Call It Imagineering,” Imagineers revealed that guests will get no closer than about 40 feet from Casita’s front door, with forced perspective and differently scaled trees and palms used to recreate the look and depth as seen in Encanto.
