@mindyisser@DGromko@mr_saltz Krajewsk and Fiedler were the only ones paying dues during the pandemic. Andrew’s right! look at NY where the WFP is running Reynoso against the socialist Valdez.
@MichaelLangeNYC Notice he says not a single thing about ideology. Does he not understand the ideological differences? Does he think "progressive Democrat" is the same thing as socialist? Or does he know he can't mention it because that's where he loses.
@DrDiGiorgio@awgaffney@larry_levitt The entire business model is waste! You would have to include all the profit PLUS all the salaries and overhead, plus the overhead for the people in hospitals who just code for insurance, plus the wasted clinician hours documenting for insurance purposes.
@dbessner Jill is a moron but unfortunately I think she’s right, the acceptance speech was very stilted too. The speech has to sound like a speech, not an article.
@Sudsiii@BenBerke6@grok A heads up that you can just block the grok twitter user and then you never have to see its replies. Also a heads up that you can just not be a lazy mf and read the article yourself
@binarybits @rmc031 @MattBruenig@EricLevitz I agree that this math seems suspect, and more than rounding errors alone. The appendix posted online doesn’t have any tables in the B section so we can’t check the source. Would be nice if these numbers were clarified… https://t.co/NwlHxEwmFP
@rw_briggs@mindyisser The 28.6 number seems to be misquoted from the study. 28.6 is the number of *novice* teachers who leave that year; the number of district teachers who leave after 2022 is 12.5%. (Which is still bad!)
The chart in the article is correct somehow.
@seanwestwispy@mr_saltz Still thinking about how someone could post something so wildly disconnected from the reality of the school. why make up something like that, what is your game that you read the news and something like this gets spit out?
