Retracting to 920K USD since the drawback from Early Oct. Rooted with $SPCX and $TSLA with some short positions and 50% BOXX this week so only down 2% in today's bloodbath.
Thinking back when everyone expects a bull market this March and then dear president Trump single-handedly ruined macro with the Iran Strike.....
TBH I thought he'd know better....
Jason Oppenheim, founder of Oppenheim Group ($5B+ in real estate sales), just sold his Bentley for a @Tesla Model Y and is so blown away by FSD that he’s buying Teslas for 10 employees:
"This is the most important video I've ever posted. Tesla's self-driving is life-changing. It's so safe. I was on the phone with my brother last night, and I made him buy one. He literally bought one while we were talking. I'm buying 10 of my employees a Tesla with FSD. It's 8x safer than the average driver. There's nothing more important than the safety of you and your loved ones. Let's make our communities safer. I hope you'll at least consider going and getting a test drive."
I've been saying for a couple months now that FSD has become a material driver of Tesla sales in North America. Some people said it's just been anecdotal evidence, but more and more videos and stories like this are popping up. It's not anecdotal anymore. Word is spreading fast. FSD is going mainstream.
Jason's full video linked in thread below.
1. We will keep accelerating. Our AI efforts are only 3 years old, vs 6 and 10 years old for Anthropic and OpenAI. If our second derivative remains strong, SpaceX will reach pole position in about 6 months.
2. Once you far exceed the caliber of intelligence needed for a class of tasks, additional intelligence is pointless. You don’t need (and it would be cruel to put) Newton-level intelligence in your toaster!
3. Hardware is hard. Bringing massive compute online rapidly is incredibly difficult. SpaceX has demonstrated exceptional ability in this regard and will only get better.
Haven't really posted anything in the past month mainly because my tradestyle has gone from bagholding to momentum trading so it feels less relevant to post position changes.
But still AI is ongoing, and the US and China all face their own domestic problems which can only be solved with AI development, so it's either AI boom or the world goes boom. With that, Semi/Neocloud/CSP/Cybersecurity/Software/Biotech remain the main focus of the market till 2030 at least. Market macro is shit lately but future is future.
Long term committment:
- $TSLA (Still strongest in physical AI; strong technicals too)
- $TWST (The TSM of biotech for mRNA related solutions powered by AI)
- $INTC (They should really thank China for constantly posting threats to Taiwan lol)
- $BE (AI development is quick but infrastructure revamp takes forever)
- $SPCX (As the model providers keep distilling each other, performance of all models will be relatively close to each other, so CSP will be the winners here. If SPCX can pull the whole space data center thing off, it will boom. Plus the mobile network cash cow.)
Account updates:
1.14M USD. Back to May level while covering all losses from July/Aug. Could be better but not complaining.
Hot take: Trump coin, World Liberty, USD1, and Melania coin are why CLARITY failed.
An unprecedented $1.3 billion pocketed. More than all past U.S. presidents made during their terms combined.
@BasedMikeLee I have stock in SpaceX and Tesla, not some big pile of cash.
As my companies do more and more useful things, their value increases proportionate to their projected usefulness. All shareholders benefit along the way, including most retirement programs.
@elonmusk@shellenberger@alexgibneyfilm It's crazy. Someone with a strong opinion should never film a documentary.....They should be the observer instead of a conspiracy commentator.
IMO semi and opt are mostly in good shapes now but individual investors are scared.....
Feel like this is gonna repeat: institutions pulling up shortly, guys got FOMO'd and got slayed again......
I get that Wall Street doesn't like negative FCF which is fair, but now all the AI infra stocks are falling cuz they don't believe this is sustainable is a bit double punishment for doubt and nothing.
Wake me up when September ends lol
