If @elonmusk has his way, @SpaceX will send two cargo missions to the surface of Mars in 2022. In this video, I imagine what it will be, with help from @NASA, @Tesla, and The @Boring_company. https://t.co/Dmtrhtue6p What do you think it will be like?
Continuing to improve https://t.co/GVr2TWbnFC . I'm getting close to getting the last edge cases fixed, although the very edges of eclipse paths are difficult, to say the least. Coming soon is the next time a total solar eclipse will be visible at every point we know on Earth.
In the process of creating https://t.co/qIA4DDGdT2 I've learned a lot about modern coding practices, and I'm going to improve the way that my other sites are made. I expect the new sites to be easier to maintain, which means more updates hopefully, and more hopefully!
I should add, the math behind this is crazy difficult, and I'm still working on resolving a few of the edge cases. Still, I'm hopeful I'll get everything ironed out in the next day or two.
I've been working on a new project, and while it still have a few issues, I wanted to let you know. It's a map of the last time that every spot on Earth has experienced a total solar eclipse according to NASA's eclipse catalog. Let me know what you think! https://t.co/qIA4DDGdT2
When I was creating https://t.co/MlVo9AEvGT I was building a game about sea trading. That game is called Colonial Sea Trader. I'm opening it to the public for now, enjoy! https://t.co/VbgqhG2GLd

@idontwa86202030@INiallAnderson@SciGuySpace I toured the test facility in Huntsville that Blue uses. They shielded the sensors and wire bundles, and left much of the rest of the tower unprotected. I would hope they know what they can try to protect but protection for the whole tower isn't possible.
@INiallAnderson@idontwa86202030@SciGuySpace Starship often damages the pad it uses for a nominal launch. The best they can do is protect the really expensive stuff in the event of an explosion, the electronics and such.
