Typing in #VR sucks, but we came up with a fun UX approach that works fast & requires no user training:
Draw on a virtual whiteboard (w/haptics to feel the board) & use OCR to grab text input as you write!

@benz145 Btw our in progress game has teleport, quick turn, jump, burst fly, & stick locomotion with trigger held to run.
That RUN modifier feels cool & is kinda like PS2 San Andreas where you can hammer the button to go faster. Let’s u roomscale & seated play.
@benz145 Curious? Why do you like directional dashing vs teleport? You basically have no control during the dash, & it requires VR comfort UX to prevent sickness for many doing that? Is it that it looks cool animating the short sprint forward?

@Dilmerv We’re making a Quest game! And thanks, your tutorials have helped us learn! Can’t wait to show you a preview of our game, it will be unlike anything you’ve seen. #duodev
The side benefit of us also supporting Quest 1 is that it forces us to build more efficiently, which should result in a better game & hopefully there are still a ton of them out there in use.
@MetaQuestGaming can you tell us how long you’ll continue to support Quest 1 users?
Keep the Quest 1. There still are some upcoming games which will support the 1 alongside the Quest 2.
Plus they’re hilarious, perform great, & unlike anything you’ve seen! #hinthint Announcements soon –
stay tuned!😎#screenshotsaturday#VR#madewithunity#duodev#greyboxing
