The AADHAR card was the brainchild of @NandanNilekani
founding Chairman of Unique Identification Authority of India .
The imbeciles who are trashing his contribution saying ADHAAR is not proof of citizenship etc have clearly not read the 2016 Act S 3 where even a non citizen of India has the right to apply & get an UIDAI card on staying in India for more than 182 days or more in 12 months.

The purpose is targeted delivery of welfare benefits & a unique number to verify important details.

Constructive criticism is always welcome but sometimes to make light of landmark achievement made by the nation is unfortunate.
