Well, it's four am local. I've been building some cool things but meeting at 9:30. I'm supposed to speak to whatever dull additions they want to their website. Maybe I go to bed. I've assigned Claude a goal to work on while I sleep.

I mentioned I have a job now. It’s not hard and really I should keep it no matter what. But they made a meeting for 9:30 am “hey anon, you ok if we move that meeting up to 9:30?” I stay up late anyway.

If you use Claude code, turn on remote control by default. It will improve your life. Also slash goal. Very nice.

And now in my pathetic laziness - after I’ve scrolled x, looked at every last bit of used music equipment, wrote some, drawn some - now, finally now do I take a few measly minutes to read the sacred word of God. Yet he is merciful. Indeed he knows our fleeting nature.

Yes. I use Claude for most things but recently trying grok. Grok code/build/whatever-they-named-it is not bad at all but I feel one day choice of AI code tool will be religious war like editor (which ironically I do not open at all for day job programming - it’s all Claude prompting now. Wild times.)

@bronzeagemantis I do often wish people younger than me could realize any "golden age" in the past was still hell for thoughtful men. This of course arrogantly presumes that *I'm* the thoughtful one and everyone else is dumb and yet... that's how it - great man or a fool, etc. etc.

Coincidentally was talking to early 20's guy the other day and could detect lots of resentment to olds and women due to the school environment. He's trying now to break free of layers of obligation laid on him. Whereas I grew up with no obligations (but I also grew up lower class so...)

This is actually a big thing we will encounter in the future (if not now). I hated typical "good old boy" life and only tolerate it now because 1.) I'm older so old hatred (and I did hate) fades and 2.) the extreme leftist forced some joining of forces on the right. If we ever had real power we would see how different the "our side" is from typical good old boy conservatives. Even now it is becoming obvious with the morons Trump has working for him.

@bronzeagemantis 1987 to 1991 midwest public school it felt like no one cared about morals at. Not a hint that I recall. Main feel was: Sex, booze, racism, gay-hate. I think it was 90s when moralism + every other kid goes to a big box mega church took over.
