I haven't checked the Chinese Threat Intelligence places in awhile. I said, "Hmph, I wonder what's going on over in Mandarin city" (I don't know any cities in China, so I make up names).
I checked out Rising (瑞星), they do technical write-ups about malware hitting China, and stuff, because they're ... headquartered in China. They're a Chinese company.
Anyway:
> be me
> open rising blog
> all mandarin
> damn i wish i could read
> translate page
> supply chain attack
> wtf.jpeg?
> AutoGLM hit
> wtf.mp4?
> Chinese AI agent thingie
> made by Z ai
> (idk wtf that is)
> GitHub for AutoGLM compromised
> download link replaced with malware payload
I said, "What the fuck? You guys have premium AI slop too? You guys have nerds attacking your supply chains too?"
Wow, we have so much in common
@HimugLamuh There was a "broken" laptop at work that has a burnt CPU core.
As soon as multi-threading runs on that core, the machine crashes. Cannot even boot Windows.
It's my excuse to use Linux at work, since I can "maxcpus=1" in the kernel parameters and "chcpu -e 2-4,6,7" after boot.
@SpiderMorpheus@vivobr Bridge + roteador próprio (+ OpenWRT).
Mark my words and bookmark this tweet. One day in the coming years, once all these laws about age verification pass and become law. There is going to be a windows update that REQUIRES a microsoft account be linked and ID verification to continue using your windows device.
People who can't see that are going to be really caught off guard when suddenly they have to dox themselves just to use their phones, pc, and every single website they visit.
